  • Which’s CIC school calendar?

CIC uses an international school calendar or a calendar B, as denominated by MEDUCA. Our school year runs from August to June.

 

  • What´s CIC school schedule?

Nursery and PK: 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 noon

Kindergarten: 8:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.

1st – 12th grade: 7:00 a.m. –

2:00 p.m.


  • ·What’s our class size?

We have a maximum of 25 students per classroom. From preschool (nursery-K) to 3rd grade, all classrooms have a main teacher and an assistant teacher to ensure a individualized learning environment.


  • What languages are taught at CIC?

Being a Panamanian school, Spanish is the legal language of the country and part of the languages taught at our school; nevertheless, most of our classes are taught in English and on high school (7th -12th grade) students will learn French as a third language.


  • DoesCIC accept students that has little to no knowledge of English and/or Spanish?

Caribbean International School has a strong ESL (English as a Second Language) and SSL (Spanish as a Second Language) program that helps students with the learning of the languages required to have a successful student life.


  • What afterschool program or extracurricular does CIC offer?

Caribbean International School offers a variety of options for students after school in sports, science and technology, arts and academic fields. Once enrolled in our school, please check availability depending on your child’s grade.


  • ·Does CIC offer a transportation program?

No, we don´t offer any kind of transportation program. Parents are responsible for coordinating the transportation of their child.

 

  • ·Does CIC have a lunch program?

We have a full functioning in-house kitchen, offering breakfast and lunches, with nutritionally balance options, with a variety of menus to please all our school community. We also have a stand with different snacks and beverages for sale. Students may also bring their meals.


  • ·Are the books and school materials supply by the school?

The tuition fee includes books and most material usedby the students.
